acableconnection 0 Posted March 12, 2014 Looking to install some IP mini domes on the exterior of a building, with no overhang. Is there a general wall mount bracket I can use?
jjp2014 0 Posted March 12, 2014 model of the camera unit your trying to mount?
myiicu 0 Posted March 12, 2014 I've used exterior mini domes from Axis, Panasonic, Samsung, Hikvision, and KT&C. When wall mounting these, don't expect full 3-axis/gimble and the ability to look down the walls. Get a regular dome if you need the flexibility.
acableconnection 0 Posted March 28, 2014 the cameras im using are ipod-el1mpir50 from securitycameraking. they articulate every direction. outside dimension is 4.5" i could mount them directly to the wall, but i like the wall mount look, and it keeps the snow/rain off the lens cover. milkisbad 0 Posted March 28, 2014 Looks like a Dahua 1.3mp dome, you can get it for less at here: http://www.marscctv.net/productDetail.php?catalog=209&id=781 I personally just mounted it on the wall, but as far as I know they don't have a specific wall mount for that thing. Just recently installed 32 of them at a business. Mounted them to junction box's in conduit for the exterior of the building. Only thing I didn't like about them is the cheap plastic around case around the eye.
