Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I 2.8mm

Hi Everyone,

 

Finally decided to migrate off my 8 CCTVs to get into IP cameras, slowly. Currently using 6cctvs recording at full D1, the resolution is just not cutting it for me.

 

I plan to start off with two Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I Outdoor HD 3MP IP Dome Security Camera 2.8mm from Amazon. This would replace the CCTV at my main entrances and with PoE. I eventually plan to replace all of my CCTVs with IP cams, when budget permits.

 

Here is what I plan to start with and would really appreciate your feedback:

 

• (2) - Hikvision DS-2CD2132-I Outdoor HD 3MP IP Dome Security Camera 2.8mm
  
• (1) - WS-POE-8-48v60w passive Power Over Ethernet POE Injector for 8 IP cameras

 

Either NAS or NVR, I'm leaning more towards the latter and looking for any recommendations.

Any NVR recommendations and where to buy? I need about 8chs, located on in California.
