Haligan 0 Posted March 13, 2014 We purchased a house last year and I am final getting around to mounting cameras. On the corners of the house the previous owner has mounted floodlights. If I mount a dome camera right in from of the lights am I going to get glare from the lights? I would move the camera over to the edge of the eave but I dont think I will be able to get the cable ran. Any suggestions?
shockwave199 0 Posted March 14, 2014 You probably won't have glare but if you plan on using motion recording, you'll be triggering it with bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Other than that, exterior light usually helps wake up a camera image. Just try and avoid putting right at a flood light fixture if you want motion recording. If you're recording full time, no worries.
