Need help camera PTZ with auto rotation to alarm location

Hello all,

 

Please help design a plant as:

- we have 2 door and install with open sensor , sensor is contact.

 

- and output sensor will plug input alarm camera.

 

If any doors open then camera will auto rotate to this door

It is possible, I've set this up on a number of sites.

 

sensor/contact cables will run to PTZ Alarm input 1 o2 Alarm input 2

In the Menu of the PTZ you should have an alarm input menu. in that menu you should see PTZ Activation or PTZ trigger , not sure what bran PTZ you are using or what they title the PTZ action.

but you should be able to enable PTZ trigger Preset X upon Alarm input relay NO or NC

Yup, this is a pretty easy thing. Nearly all of the decent PTZ's on the market can handle this function.

Camera rotate continuous.

You should be able to do one normally open and one normally closed - get the door contacts that have both sets of screws. Check to make sure your system has both options.
