Hipflask 0 Posted March 26, 2014 Hi all. Was thinkning of upgrading my aging kit (an eight channel 2xd1 6xhd1 analogue with 500gb drive) to i.p cams. I managed to grab a 2 mega pixel dbpower camera of ebay just to poke at however. The firmware only seems to work on 1 out of three pc's ive tried so far (firmware version 1.8.1.1n-201305061355) heres an image of the camera http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee131/hipflask01/_12_zps69e3e06e.jpg anyone help with a link to new firmware for it that actually works? i go round in circles googling it. any help would be gratefull. Hipflask 0 Posted March 26, 2014 Yes i know . im replying to myself. So i got ispy working ok all recording. Still want to update the cameras firmware as you cannot view it or edit any admin settings as the firmwares so unstable. Picture qualitys ok (much better than analogue.) although with a zoomable ptz i suppose you would still edge this out unless it has the right lens on it. Have ordered a poe 8 port hub and cat 6 cables to run a 2nd netowrk around the house in conjunction for a while to see how it fairs and downtime etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
