highjon 0 Posted June 1, 2014 Increase sensitivity of spacial / time frames for detection? How do you know it only detects during night-time? Are you analysing event search for motion? Is timed event record set only for night perhaps? Or, does it buzz upon detection? it's a bit puzzling...

But it seems to detection at all times not the times we set.
Leohuangdi 0 Posted June 3, 2014 Hi, Avtech dvrs event timer is usually just for recordings, so when an allarm is triggered outside of the selected time it will not record the video, but it will still send email notification. Recently a new firmware (1022) was released to improve this function in some new models of dvrs, can you check what is your current firmware version?

We want to use the function to alert us by email of any motion detected our firmware is 1018-1003-1008-1004. If we update to 1022 will this be able to email us when motion is detected ONLY at night?
