tosul 0 Posted January 17, 2006 Looking for input on the pros and cons of PC based system copared to standalone DVRs. My company is primarily a telecom interconnect, but since we are in a lot of schools we have become involved in CCTV installations. For the last year we've been using stand alone DVRs and a Bluenet video server which we purchase from Intellicam in Ohio. However it seems like the PC based systems offer more value.
