rukass 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Hello to all. First, sorry for my bad english, I'am Portuguese. Next, i have a problem with a 4channel dvr, Konig SEC-DVR210, which blocked at boot after a failed firmware update. On the web I found this great forum and so I come here asking for help. I as said the device blocked at boot after a failed upgrade, certainly with the bootloader damaged, giving just a constant and annoying beep. Although the brand of device is KONIG the board is a Japanese manufacturer, model JESMAY 3604, and has only one JTAG port not having serial port. "photos of board attached" so, I need to unlock the boot by jtag, this has an ARM7 processor AT91R40008, and a flash 39VF800A. I want to know if someone gains access to the bootloader of these devices and connection information for jtag, because I can not get any response from manufacturers. Any help will be greatly appreciated and will be grateful. Thank you in advance Photos http://postimg.org/image/ebb2bw30r/ http://postimg.org/image/tmjkplc8f/ http://postimg.org/image/kx3j9bgwd/
Roman.CA 0 Posted April 11, 2014 Sometimes same thing happens during computer firmware updates sometimes so try calling computer repair shops in your area and ask if they can flash firmware to a chip directly.
KENSTV 0 Posted April 27, 2014 I work on TV's and I can tell you if the manufacture won't help your only options are: pull the memory chip where the firmware resides-usually will be marked or tagged-and find a board on eBay or elsewhere and replace the chip with a not corrupt one, second option would be to find the data sheet on the processor and try and accesses the code through debug or other routines that may be available on the particular chip, then you would need to try and load the new code thru the jtag, problem can be that the chip is locked, the data sheet should tell you how to unlock the code if it's possible, definitely replacing the memory chip is the easiest--if you have the proper equipment
