sgwellinc 0 Posted April 12, 2014 Hello All, I have been reading all previous posts relating to this topic but I still would like to clarify some things. I am installing a 8 channel camera system and would like to have 3 monitors that show all the cameras. Two of the monitors are 50ft away. My research so far has told me that I need a "SPOT OUT" on the back of my dvr for this to work. Is this true or can this work without a "spot out"? If i do need a "spot out" am i suppose to connect an active TV splitter/amplifier to the rg59? Does it matter where i place the splitter/amplifier? Closer to DVR or closer to Monitors?
