qrcctv 0 Posted April 15, 2014 You want to but a camera with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) WDR technology should get rid of the sun light reflection and give you a good image. If your question was about a camera that can stay alive in the sun make sure you do not go for a dome camera. Have a bullet camera with external housing which is temperature controlled. myiicu 0 Posted April 16, 2014 I have used dome cameras in direct sunlight that have lasted much longer than bullets in direct sunlight... IP 66 rated bullet style cameras do not require an external enclosure. Box cameras (not waterproof) require a external enclosure. Enclosure with internal heater/fan is recommended for longer life. Temperature controlled dome cameras with internal heaters and fans are common and available. As with most things these days, you get what you pay for...
