jtech1 0 Posted April 18, 2014 I have been using a Speco TH for the last few years... I have all hard wired (coax+pwr) cameras (separate central power supply for the cameras). The TH has been poor since I bought it and Speco stopped updating software years ago. I want to upgrade to a new DVR with the following new capabilities: 1) 16 cameras, 30 fps each, D1 min, but also HD (1080p) for new cameras 2) Better motion detection than TH, which is so bad I cant use it (cheap Amazon DVRs have better motion detection) 3) Better post analytic options... ie. search footage and look for motion in sections, etc. 4) Better mobile support (Spec app faults constantly, and very limited) I am open to either a dedicated DVR or a PC card with software that meets my needs. I like the separate software approach since it can evolve and update for much longer than the supported lifetime of a dedicated DVR these days... I would appreciate any advice on what I should be looking at... Thanks!
