Jibbeh 0 Posted April 20, 2014 Hope someone can help me, we have a site that has three of these that are looking to replace their NVR, as we're only kinda starting out on IP CCTV were unsure about the standards for PTZ, I understand video shouldn't be a problem but as its not a twisted pair telemetry camera is there a standard for IP ptz too? Or if there isn't a standard would Hik's NVR be able to pan/tilt panasonic cameras? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ssmith10pn 0 Posted April 21, 2014 I would seriously doubt that Hik can control a Panasonic PTZ. As far as I know this camera does not have a RS-485 input and selectable protocols. IP only on this camera. I looked at a Genetec Security Center System I maintain and there wasn't much help there. We run a ton of the Panasonic WV-SW396 cameras.
