Using Microphone with RCA input Q see System

Guys i'm running a QSEE 8 channel 960h system. I've been using the QSEE amplified microphone and it has so much static and white noise. Anyone know what to do?

I have found that setting the gain way down tends to help. We usually use a stand alone mic as some times the best camera angle is not the bet mic location.

I'm using the QSEE DVR, I don't see gain adjustments. Would those adjustments be on a better DVR?
