question about GB28181

I have an ipcamera with gb28181 button in network settings tab, i don't know how to use that function, googling show me that gb28181 is a standard and have no guide. Please anyone help me

It looks like GB28181 is a Chinese government mandated standard. Not much detail out there on a quick glance, but it appears to be the Chinese version of ONVIF, probably with a few extra back doors to make sure you don't step out of line.

 

National Standardization Management Committee issued on December 30, 2011, implemented on June 1, 2012, GB28181 "security video surveillance network system of information transmission, switching, control technology requirements" standard

 

Do you have a need for this? If it were mine, I'd disable it, but that's just me.
