apopka_pilot 0 Posted May 1, 2014 I currently have a few Foscam IP cameras that record to a PC running BlueIris. I’d like to remove the PC and use a DVR to do the recording but I don’t want to invest in new cameras. None of my cameras have a coaxial connection, they are all Ethernet connection. Is it possible to use a video balun for this application?
Don Stephens 0 Posted May 1, 2014 You just need an NVR; not a DVR. You can get them with or without network ports. If you get one without network ports for your cameras, then your cameras just need to be connected to your router/modem/switch and then brought in through there IP addresses to the NVR. apopka_pilot 0 Posted May 1, 2014 I will look into the NVR's. Thanks for the tip.
