secplus 0 Posted May 5, 2014 Hello guys. I have a customer at a liquor store that's interested in some sort of lock for his front door that he can lock with the push of a button to prevent theft. Basically when he's behind the counter it has happened to him that someone will come in and grab merchandise and try to run out the store with it, and since he's behind the counter sometimes he's not quick enough to grab the person. I was thinking of putting a Roslare 1200lbs MAG lock, but I tried a 600lbs at another store and the problem was that with enough force, the door pops open. I have attached a couple of PICS of the door to see if anyone can at least guide me correctly. Door Stirke is not an option because of the type of locking mechanism this door uses. Yes I know I have to move the front door alarm sensor Thanks.
ssmith10pn 0 Posted May 6, 2014 I would consider a shear lock. A 1200lb mag lock like the dortronics should work.
ssmith10pn 0 Posted May 6, 2014 The 1110 would be a good one http://www.dortronics.com/products.php?cat_id=
secplus 0 Posted May 22, 2014 The rosslare LK-M06L worked perfectly!! Only issue I had was that the plate over the door had to be a bit loose for the magnet to pick it up, so I remedied that issue with a couple of washers. here's the link for this unit: http://www.rosslaresecurity.com/products/lk-m06l-maglock/

secplus 0 Posted May 28, 2014 that's what I used, it had to be done in a hurry and my distributor was out of 1200 at the time.
