Bogdan11 0 Posted May 6, 2014 Hello, please assist me troubleshooting my KPD679B-D dvr. I changed the HDD from WD 500GB to Seagate 2TB, and worked fine for a couple of months, but it developed some bad sectors and I tried to change it. But the DVR won't power up without the Seagate connected to power cable (without SATA), and in this combination works, but I have to send Seagate to warranty and without it , the dvr won't power up no matter what HDD I tried.
