carrot 0 Posted May 6, 2014 Hello Installers, I need some help. We purchased some Mini Domes from Hikvision (DS-2CD2532F-I) Unfortunately I am having trouble organizing the cables since it has no enclosure to hide it in. Does anyone have a idea how I could hide the cable to make it less visible? I am mounting onto concrete roof. Thanks
what-da 0 Posted May 6, 2014 Have a look at this one http://www.ezcctvonline.com/hikvision/ds-1282zj-dmmini-hikvision-ezcctv-?sort=p.model&order=DESC&page=
carrot 0 Posted May 6, 2014 Hi Thanks for your reply I do have such a mount, but it is too small to hide cable in, I need to dangle cable next to camera, where it goes into Junction box. Does not help if dome is MINI or Vandal when I have wires hanging loose... Other option is to put camera on JB, but then it looks much less appealing. I wish there was some minimalist JB that I could buy for cameras. looks im out of luck
buellwinkle 0 Posted May 7, 2014 While Hikvision makes extender plates for some of it's cameras and we use them for the ds-2cd2732f when mounted on concrete wall, unfortunately, they do not make it for that camera. The only Hikvision solution is the DS-1272ZJ-120 wall mount. Any place that sells Hikvision should be able to get you that mount.
marley1 0 Posted May 7, 2014 couldn't you mount a plastic enclosure behind it and screw the camera to it? Or can you drill a bigger hole in the cement and put the female coupler in the wall and mount camera over hole?
