PBRipley 0 Posted May 11, 2014 I have a Samsung SRD 1652d and I have to set you to send out an email upon a motion event, which works great as I receive a little picture to my iPhone. I have 9 cameras and when I first set it up I just had the camera on my entrance doors on motion detect and the others all recording constantly. This works great as when someone approached the doors I got an email to my phone. Recently I decided to altered things to provide more recording time so I now have 2 cameras that record constantly and that other 7 that record upon motion detect. This however has led to all 7 cameras sending out emails and inundating my phone with pictures. Question is can you make the email event from a motion detect only apply to nominated channels? I cant find this setting anywhere. From what I have gathered it just applies to ALL motion detect channels full stop. This is a shame as im in the situation where I can either have all the channels recording 24 / 7 and disk space suffers, or you put them on motion detect and then you are inundated with emails so it is pointless using the email event service.
