jmk 0 Posted May 12, 2014 I have a Sony 700tvl ptz camera. In the manual under the auto tracking settings for "sensitivity" it says: "set the speed dome camera running angle during tracking, the value larger then the tracking angle much larger". The settings are numbers 1 -8. I'm sure that it's translated to english, however I'm really confused about the statement of running angle. Can anybody explain to me what they are talking about? shockwave199 0 Posted May 12, 2014 I'm not exactly sure, but mine is such that sensitivity has small, medium, large. At small, the camera will only sense large and obvious movement. At large, the camera will sense anything that comes into view. I seem to do well with medium. The trickier setting if yours has it is zoom match. This is how much the camera will zoom to the target as it tracks. You'll have to set yours and test it to understand what settings work best for your application. jmk 0 Posted May 15, 2014 Thanks for the reply. I think I figured out the low number is large objects, but I'm still trying to understand the "running angle".
