johnsal 0 Posted May 15, 2014 I want a 4 camera wireless system. 8 ch DVR ideal. Cannot interfere with internet (although I have both Comcast and AT&T). I like the option of a small (7-10") monitor. I can have by my bed - mostly since I'm recently disabled and want to see, and talk to people at my front door. However I cannot find one that can store any more than 2 days of video on a 32gb SD card. I have a desktop I could use in my garage that includes a desktop running XP. My laptop has 8.1. I could manage installing one wired camera, especially if it gives me the ability to pan. I'd like one of the cameras to have 180 degree field of view. Zoom is desirable. Greater than VGA quality (480 x 640) desirable. Being able to recognize faces from 50ft ideal. Fast review function mandatory Email (or ideally text) notification with a snapshot. Our cars have been burglarized twice and someone has stolen $200 worth of my wife's flower bulbs from our front yard. Budget? Well, I have seen systems on eBay that seem to meet most of my wish list for around $300. I can spend up to $600. Obviously that, in the view of most here, gets me a piece of worthless junk.
