cctv_survivor 0 Posted January 23, 2006 In the Geovision audio/video log (the one that lists all my videos by date in a tree structure format with replay window in the center of the screen) I can click on a video and play it. But how do I delete it? I see a recycle option but I don't care about recycling. I want to delete the video but I don't see an option to do this. I am doing some system testing now and I want to delete a few of the sample videos I made. I pretty sure I can navigate to the video file in windows explorer and delete the videos that way but I thought there'd be an option to do it within the audio/video log. C7Installer 0 Posted January 23, 2006 If you want to purge them all (or by date ro camera), you can delete files using the backup utility. Check the Geovision program group on the Start menu (Windows). Also, check the user manual.
Jasper 0 Posted January 23, 2006 You can navigate through the windows directories and delete the files manually but is not really set up that way. The DMD backup program that you used to create extracted video for review by date and time is also used to delete video files. You click on that picture of that little shredder looking graphic. Then you enter the range by date and time of video files that you wish to delete. One thing to watch out for is if you specify some video that doesn't fall within a range you'll get an erroneous message telling your there's no video in that range. When in fact there is.
