change logo on Samsung SDR-5102N DVR

can anyone help me change the video loss logo on Samsung's SDR-5102N DVR? It's just a cheap embedded analog machine... I don't even know where to start (I've done it on my PC based DVRs for years though)

I've tried a couple of things...

 

I went to Samsung's site & downloaded a firmware update from another model since there isn't one for mine yet, it kicked out a .zip file called sde-500x-t1-pkg_v1.02h_120612154015, I extracted it and it just removed the .zip at the end. Can't really get into it.

 

So then I went into settings under system management and exported the DVR info to a flash drive; it created a folder named SDR-5102 with a file called 14051800.dat which is recognized by my pc as a Video CD Movie.

 

Any pointers?
