jzipf 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Hello, I connected our GV-PC with another PC (without GV-Card) via LAN. Wanted to use View Log LAN. I gave access to all folders at the GV-PC, but when I open View Log LAN on the other PC I get only question marks. But there is no problem to access the videos via LAN by opening them withe the WMP. Only with View Log LAN I get question marks. I asked Geovison alreday twice. The only answer was to give access to all folders for the LAN PCs but that's what I did but no results. Does anybody know anything about the solution of that problem? Thanks and greetings Joe
scottj 0 Posted January 24, 2006 On the client PC, map the View Log.exe to the database folders on the GV machine. It should work with no problems. Scottj
jzipf 0 Posted January 24, 2006 Hi scottj! Thanks for your reply! But unfortunately, I didn't understand the meaning of "mapping". What exactly do you mean with mapping? I didn't understand what I should do. Thanks! Joe

I gave all the access to all folders. I can play the video files with WMP. I did repair database on both PCs. Any idea??? Please help. Joe
