Panther1980 0 Posted May 23, 2014 I have a sunluxy camera system I have just got, it all works well and I can view the camera on my home network from the iphone app, the issu I do have is I can see it outside my home network, is there an easy, uncomplicated way to set it up so I can view the camera for say at work on the iphone app. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
buellwinkle 0 Posted May 25, 2014 You need to first set a fixed IP on your device (camera or DVR, now sure what that is you got). Then port forward the port (or multiple ports) as required on your router. Check with the people you bought it from or a support number as to what ports need to forwarded. At that point, you should be able to access the device using you iPhone and your WAN IP address. Then you need to setup dynamic DNS so you access the camera even after your ISP changes IP on you.
