ljw2k 0 Posted May 23, 2014 Hi first thanks for this great forum and I have just invested into upgrading my old 700tvl camera's to the new 1080p IP cameras from Hikvision and all new to me and can't wait for it to arrive from Aliexpress UK English Camera model Hikvision DS-2CD2532F-IWS w/Audio, 3MP Mini dome w/Built-in Wi-Fi Network IP camera. I intend to buy a 2-4 tb Western Digital Purple hard drive for my pc to store the data. Would someone confirm all I need is the Hikvision ToolKit from there site to get me up and running obviously I need to open ports on my router and stuff. The Camera comes with Version 5.1.0 but the seller on AE states he/she will update to latest 5.1.2. Questin^ Can the camera be downgraded and upgraded? I have done quite a lot of homework on what camera would suit my needs and I decided 2.8mm would give me a nice wide angle and reading this blog made me go for the same camera but with audio http://www.networkcameracritic.com/?p=2158.
