tiki 0 Posted May 29, 2014 My old 4 cams DVR - he went south some days ago - always sent me a snapshot as attachment of the alarm-email (and there was arriving ONLY one email per alarm). So I could easy decide which movie has to be watched or not. Just installed a new DVR-6008 (8 cams) with a zillion of new settings (unknown until now). When switching - just for testing the equipment - the alarm of one cam on ON, each alarm sends two text-messages: The first message tells about the start of the alarm, the second message tells about the end of the alarm. There is absolutely no pic (snapshot of the situation) attached to one of the two messages. Guess, I did somewhere a wrong setting or I forgot or have overseen a setting. I really don't know on how handling the bad situation (I'm already dreaming of the DVR-manual during sleeping...). -Just to mention: E-Mail is working, 'cause text emails are arriving after alarms -Registering on hard-drive works (I can watch any registered movie at any time) -Internet-access and local network ar working fine -And yes, I'm using Gmail for sending and receiving the alarm-mails (I even tried out with two other email-providers) Does anybody uses also a DVR-6008 or does anybody has a hint for me? tiki Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
