How to configure de NETGEAR READYNAS as recording device

Recommended Posts

Hallo,

I have a Geovision GV-VD120D and I would like to stream the recordings to the READYNAs from Netgear.

But I don't know how to set it up.

In Video gateway/recording server I have filled in the ip adres of the nas server being 192.168.1.6

but it also asks for a port number ?

And then there is an entry box for username and password.

I have specified the username and password in de nas.

But when I click on CONNECT in the video/recording server on the website of the camera, it says "connection broken".

Can someone help me further please ?

Thanks.

as a work around, I use the GvSDCardSync.

That program syncs the internet SD card of the GV-VD120D to another place (in my case, the NAS).

You can set it up that it syncs like every 15 minutes.

So you always have a backup of the recorded images.
