Help: AvertX or Q-See - Residential Use?

Hi,

 

I´m new to the site and fairly inexperienced when it comes to the cctv world. I am looking for CCTV for my house. I´m looking to spend at most, $ 3.000. I´m wondering if anyone would recommend any specific brand for 1080p IP cameras and NVRs. Right now, I´m looking at Q-see and Avertx. Are these good? Should I avoid these and look elsewhere?
