IR Sensor Function ????

Came across a board lens and it was described the following way:

What is an IR sensor function. Just some Chinese Mumbo Jumbo or does it just mean its more sensitive to 850nm IR? And, whats a MTV mount? They looked like regular board lenses to me.

I believe they has some coating on the lens, because lots of lens from china they are using on the cmos camera so if you using to the regular lens on their camera you will see te image actually is kind of wash out
