ungovernable77 0 Posted June 11, 2014 Looking to buy an IP camera, need recommendations of a camera matching the following criteas: - Must be compatible with Geovision (doesnt have to be Geovision brand, i bought a third-party ip camera licence) - Would prefer to have an option to use it with wired ethernet connection, so if i get interferences with wifi i can just wire it to my router - NO INFRARED !!! The camera will be behind a window - Good low-light image WITHOUT lowering the shutter speed (i don't want blurred image when things are moving) - As small as possible (camera will be behind the door's window so it must be small) - Will be used indoor only, i don't need weatherproof or waterproof - I want REAL COLORS !! So i need an IR filter or else the colors will look pink
myiicu 0 Posted June 19, 2014 There are only a handful of low light IP cameras that are available today. These cameras are full sized box or full sized dome configuration. A small low light IP camera will be difficult to find. Mounting a camera behind glass is not recommended. viewtopic.php?f=53&t=31581&hilit=behind+glass Here is an option to consider... LittleScoobyMaster 0 Posted June 19, 2014 please ? Whatever you do, don't buy this camera: I bought one many years ago, and it was almost useless. It's the Kodak MC3. It's like an El Camino of the car world. Instead of being a car that is like a truck, the MC3 is an Mp3 player that is like a camera, but it fails miserably.
