How to access ip camera (setting)that connected to poe.

Hi ,

Iv 4 hik cameras model ds-2032-I connected to hikvision ds-7608-se/p with 4 ports , my question is , how can I access the camera setting?!

Not so easy because the internal switch on the NVR assigned weird non-LAN IP addresses. So what you would have to do is get a PoE injector or switch, plug the cameras into it and use SADP to find them, remember the old IP and enter a new IP in your home subnet. Then you can use the browser interface to set up options like WDR. Then change the IP back to what it was and plug the camera back into the NVR.

What settings do you need to access, as the latest NVR firmware gave access to most of the settings you might use, such as WDR.

 

If you want to, you can sacrifice one port, connect a 2nd POE switch to that port, connect that switch to your lan also. That will allow full access.

Just wanna tell you that the POE switch is built in with the nvr .

I remmber that I read one solution in one forum that I can access it by by connecting rj45 to one of POE port with PC and setting something in the network ( changing ip ) then I can access the ip camera interface.

An yes I wanna access everything like wdr, 3d dnr and more.

Can you help me by this?

Just wanna tell you that the POE switch is built in with the nvr .

I remmber that I read one solution in one forum that I can access it by by connecting rj45 to one of POE port with PC and setting something in the network ( changing ip ) then I can access the ip camera interface.

An yes I wanna access everything like wdr, 3d dnr and more.

Can you help me by this?

 

You have to set your computer's IP to be in the same subnet as the built-in POE switch's IP like Buellwinkle said.

 

For example:

 

If your built-in POE switch has an IP of 192.168.188.1, then each camera connected to it will be 192.168.188.x. so you plug computer into it, set your computer's LAN address to 192.168.188.x, then just punch up each IP of the camera and it'll come up.

 

If you frequently have to do this and don't want to keep changing your computer's LAN back and forth, there's an option called "alternate configuration' in your computer's network setting where you added the configuration of the POE switch and keep the main configuration as 'obtain ip address automatically'.

You are making this more complicated than it needs to be.

 

Update the NVR firmware.

Can you give me the link of the firmware , and how can I be sure it's Appropriated To my NVR? And one more question, Iv Chinese hikvision camera , if I update it will be problem with the camera ?!
