How to Install SATA HDD to DX-TL2500 ?

I am trying to install a SATA HDD to Mitsubishi DX-TL2500 Digital recorder.The system recognizes the SATA HDD ,but it can not on to record.

is this manual any good- look at hard drive info around page 59.
