lfmm 0 Posted June 19, 2014 Dear all, I´ve been using some brands of encoders such as Acti, Bosch, Sony, Axis and Hikvision in some CCTV installations, and to check the encoder I use VLC and point to the URL of encoder´s stream like: Acti: rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.0.100:7070/track1 Bosh: rtsp://192.168.0.100:554/video?inst=1 Sony: rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.0.100:554/media/video1 Axis: rtsp://root@192.168.0.100:554/axis-media/media.amp Hikvision: rtsp://admin:12345@192.168.0.100:554/ I´ve tried to do this on a Indigovision 9000 encoder and did not worked because could not find how to contruct the URL on the Indigovision documentation. Even using a browser you can not check if the encoder is working, the user does not have any page showing an image. Thank you for any help.
ssnapier 0 Posted June 19, 2014 I am pretty sure they just use the straight IP address with nothing else required (unless you have a custom port).

IndigoVision 0 Posted June 23, 2014 Hi, IndigoVision products by default do not have an RTSP stream. The only IndigoVision products that do have this are ONVIF conformant products, you can find a list of these products at: http://www.onvif.org/FindaProduct/ProfileProducts.aspx Thanks, IndigoVision
