kelso 0 Posted June 27, 2014 Hi, I am working with Swann HD 820 CAM with Blue Iris 3, I am getting about 28-30 fps but is there any tweaks needs to be done on the camera side? sometimes where there is a movement it seems like the video skips a few secs, from like 4:28:45 to 4:28:48 Its not consistent. Is there anything I can do to bypass it? or any other tweaks in configuration you guys recommend?

Make sure you have a decent break time (15 seconds or so) that is the time the system keeps recording after the last motion event. Increase the sensitivity as well. 30fps is way overkill, you really only need about 12-15. Keep your bitrate at about 4096.
