rak313 0 Posted July 2, 2014 I'm confused. Hikvision ivms-4200 PCNVR and Hikvision ivms-4200 Client seem to be quite similar. I don't understand what the difference is or which one I should be using. The PCNVR seems to be a stand alone application that views live/records/and plays back. The Client seems to do all those things as well. It looks to me like the "client" contains a collection of applications that are more integrated - but I can't tell. Please enlighten me. Thanks Rick Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ljw2k 0 Posted July 3, 2014 The iVMS4200 can be used as a remote client to review live and recorded footage from the PC based PC_NVR. Both iVMS4200 and PC_NVR look similar in many ways but the PC_NVR is specifically tailored to run 24/7 on server or standalone dedicated PC. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
