RikWesty 0 Posted July 7, 2014 I have a commercial customer who wants CCTV for his home but would like the system to automatically change the channel on his TV if somebody breaks a motion detector? I'm Ok with splitting out one camera but cannot find a controller for this purpose. This has got to be do-able even if it's creating & soldering a box together. Can anybody point me in the right direction.

RikWesty 0 Posted July 7, 2014 Hi Tomcctv, Will be easier with an anologue camera, using a DVR with wireless controller throught the network. I was hoping to piggy-back the DVR video signal via the aerial either as anologue or digital. The problem is all the TV's in the house are next to newly decorated walls except one, where I believe I can get a Cat5 cable to it. Balun the signals at either end and send power down the Cat5. Think I can use pin 8 on the scart connection to turn the TV to the Scart input & use Pins 18 & 20 for video signal. Using GJD motion detector with 12v DC switching output to pin 8. What do you think?
tomcctv 190 Posted July 7, 2014 RikWesty Yes you have the same idea .... GJD or opted wireless to control your scart. GJD also do a 2 or 4 way wireless If your looking at switch over on more than one camera then easiest way is alarm out on dvr direct to scart Nc to pin
