How would you connect to the Lorex LNB2153B Outdoor 1080p HD

Can you manually connect to the Lorex LNB2153B Outdoor 1080p HD camera like you can with the Swann SWNHD-820CAM?

 

Would like to buy the camera and be able to use it with my computer without having to buy a NVR from Lorex for now.

According to user comments on the Amazon page, these are Hik cams that they're using with Blue Iris, so you should be able to connect with no problems:

I'm not sure why you'd buy the Lorex version instead of Hik, but there may be a good reason.

I eventually want a NVR system to hook it up to. I just need one camera for now since I living in an apartment on the top floor and only need it for the front door. Once I move into a house I will need to buy a system. I am open to suggestions on what is the best NVR system rather it be a Lorex, Swann or Hikvision. Something I can buy one camera for now and then work towards adding and making it into a NVR System.
