NVR design

Im looking at a NVR system for a hotel. I need a week or two of recording, 16 cameras, 1080 recording (not 720 at 16 channels), and IR. I'm looking at http://www.costco.com/Swann-16-Channel-3MP-NVR-Security-System-with-3TB-HDD-and-10-1080p-IP-Cameras.product.100101588.html

 

Does anyone have any experience with this unit, or have a better suggestion? Costco also has Lorex and Avertx now, are those any better?

I can't tell you exactly what to get as there are many cameras and nvrs out there but for a commercial property such as a hotel, I would strongly urge against consumer grade combo systems that are sold at Costco or any big box store.

If you want to save money you can save with cost effective cameras such as Dahuas, Hikvision or GeoVision.

That looks like a Hikvison DS-7716NI-SP NVR with 16 Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras.

Cheaper than Aliexpress?

I'm fine going with the hikvision cameras, but I need a NVR that will support 32 cameras recording at 1080 (motion capture, not 24/7) or I can split it into 2 16 camera systems. I prefer it to provide POE instead of me having to purchase 2 POE switches......

 

Any suggestions?
