DarioTexas 0 Posted July 27, 2014 I'm building another system - Most of mine have been overkill - we try to run everything at max using two cards - 32 cameras - plus we have to playback in the middle of the night while all 32 cameras are recording so it puts a strain on the system. I remember a Avermedia tech telling me along time ago the Aver Software does not support more than 2 cores on a processor - in other words the programming on the back end only knows to use 2 cores so a quad core is pointless?
