mifftas 0 Posted July 29, 2014 Ive tried everything to get my cctv to watch when im away ,ive even got a cctv engineer and he cant do it , for some reason he said its skys fault because they wont open the port?? I have a qvis dvr .i even rang them and they said its skys fault?? i rang sky and sky gave me details online to make it work but he could only take me so far through the website and when he put the phone down i clicked the next page and it had been withdrawn!! im seriously thinking of fucking sky off and getting another provider as sky seem to be the problem . Im going away shortly and NEED access when im away to keep an eye on my property. Im really at my wits end and dont know who now to turn too to sort this. mgb 0 Posted July 29, 2014 What port is the issue? Many ISPs block port 80 but if that the case, the port can typically be changed on the dvr and then the new port forwarded. I've had some issues with cable providers and forwarding ports. So if sky really is the issue, then drop 'em
