Hi! I am new here and I would like help from you all regarding Hikvision 64 Channel NVR DS-9664NI-ST http://www.hikvision.com/en/Products_show.asp?id=6074

QUESTION:

1. Does this model support display output of all 64 channel at one time? I want to know if this NVR can output on my display 60 inch TV all the 64 channels. It may be be small but I want to see all the channel at one time. I am not concerned about the Zero Channel Configuration! Please let me know before I buy.

I have a DS-9632NI-ST & no, it will not show all 32 channels at the very same time. The maximum number of channels you view is 4X4, that is 16 channels at any one time. After a certain amount of 'dwell time' seconds the screen switches to the next 16 channels & so forth.

Don't forget about bandwidth availability. Assuming you fill this NVR with 64 cameras and lets say they are 3MP cams which use about 4Mbps each. Thats 256 but your DVR only supports 160Mbps. So to keep your quality level up you are going to have keep your cams at a lower quality rate plus you need some of that 160Mbps for play back so you need to reduce your quality even more. Just something to think about.
