chets ls3 0 Posted August 10, 2014 So I have been battling my swann 7200 1080p system. Seems as though the swann 720p POe cameras will not work with the nvr. I can only use 1080. I've read in multiple places the swann 1080 cameras are hikvision. And they appear so. My question is would a hikvision 1080 camera work with the swann NvR as it seems to be picky obviously. Don Stephens 0 Posted August 11, 2014 If your NVR is Onvif compatible, you're probably good to go with a Hikvision camera. I really don't know why the 720p camera wouldn't be working on that NVR though, but Swann does like to carry a lot of different things from a lot of different manufacturers so I guess compatibility might be the problem.
