STJL 0 Posted August 19, 2014 Hi, For test purpose, I changed the Http port from 80 to 8081 on a Hikvision DS-2CD3132-I and since I can't access it any more and can't changed to http port back to 80, I do not find any reset button What should I do ?, what is the solution ? STJL 0 Posted August 19, 2014 Hi Spark, Yes I have added the 8081 port to the camera IP, The SADP utility detects the camera in question for roughly 1 minute to finally desappearing and can only reappear when stopping and restarting SADP, but unless I'm wrong, the only port showned in SADP is the service port which is equal to 8000, I do not see a way to change the Http port through SADP !! Am I wrong ? Have you added the port number to the ip address in your web browser eg 192.0.0.64:8081 You can try the SADP utility to change the port number. STJL 0 Posted August 19, 2014 Nope, can't locate any pinholes, I did look for it very carefully , there is that small battery, that I can't even remove, it's soldered on the board !!! This is a common problem I've been seeing, maybe a bug in the latest firmware where people change port numbers and the cameras goes into a reboot cycle. catseyenu 0 Posted August 19, 2014 I would assume your camera has "CCCH" in it's serial number making it a Chinese version. 2nd assumption, the 3132 is the same as the 2132 only sold in China. If this is in fact so, flashing with English 2132 version firmwares (using tftp) will cause your language menus to display in Chinese if you flash anything newer than the multilingual 5.10 firmware. This can be fixed either using the Hex edit hack (temporary, needs reworking with each version) or the CBX region change fix (permanent, works with all current versions). STJL 0 Posted August 20, 2014 To all, I fixed the non http access to the cam (After modifying the http port) by installing the latest v520 firmware with tftpserv. I am now back to the initial situation , meaning I can access the cam on my local network, but not from outside / remote, this is why according some litterature I had modified the http port from 80 to 8081. buellwinkle 0 Posted August 20, 2014 It's not the port number, it's just a bug in the newer firmware, makes the camera go into a reboot loop. Your best bet is either to go to 5.1 firmware using TFTP where I know it works or keep the camera at port 80 as most routers can do port mapping, meaning you can setup port forwarding on port 8081 remotely, but it maps it back to port 80 on the camera. That's how I do all my port forwarding now, it's easier in that I don't have to mess with camera settings. I can swap a bad camera out and keep the same rules. In my case, I portmap 80 and 554 and I'm able to access the cameras remotely, no problem. I don't have a 2132 here, but I thought I would take apart a 2032 to see where in the circuit board the reset button connects to as maybe there's a spot on the 2132 circuit board with the same markings that can be temporarily shorted to reset the camera.
