Damienphenry 0 Posted August 20, 2014 Hello all... I am a newbie Hopefully your can help me. I have a RaySharp H.264 8CH digital Video recorder. The cameras appears live on screen but it won’t record for me, instead of an “R” I see a “H” displayed on the monitor screen. the system used to record fine, its only in the past few weeks it has stopped? Can you advise what I can do. Also do you happen to have a user manual for this recorder, if so can you email it to me? Also does anyone know where I can get the manual? seem to have misplaced mine Many thanks Damien
MrMxyzptlk 0 Posted August 20, 2014 http://www.raysharp.cn/en/questiondetail-63.html Here's a start. Looks to be another wonderful product brought to you by Chinese slave labor. The manual is likely translated from Chinese to Russian and then to English by a guy who learned the language from old Batman reruns. Enjoy.

VidER 0 Posted September 9, 2014 Are you sure it is an "H" and not an "M"? It could be set to record on motion detect rather than schedule.
Laurence 0 Posted September 23, 2014 Try changing hard drive
maxtorgr 0 Posted October 17, 2014 im installing raysharp for more than 3 years. you need to format hard disk drive. H = Hard disk warning. (damaged or unformated). R = Recording M = Motion detection
