bicc 0 Posted August 21, 2014 I am looking to record locally from an PTZ IP Camera i have installed. I am aware that transferring file over the internet will require a large bandwidth... something i do not have. My question is.. If i set up a VPN connection between the site where my camera is and my home (where i want to record) would i be able to record remotely by creating that connection between this VLAN between these two sites ?? ssnapier 0 Posted August 22, 2014 If this is just a single camera and you have the ability to turn down the stream settings a bit, I see no reason why that is not an option. I would still record locally and then transfer the local recording via SFTP or some other means. (remote file sync thru a tunnel maybe?) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
