Sunluxy 4Channel H.264 DVR HDD not found

Hello,

 

I've seen alot of these posts on this forum but none contain the answer I need. I have just got the Sunluxy HOME 4CH HD CCTV kit. Seen here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0084CCF04/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

 

I have brought the hard drive that Amazon recommended:

Yet when I launch the DVR with the hard drive plugged in correctly it loads and then says that "HDDs not found". I have formatted the hard drive and it works fine on my computer but again once I plug it into the DVR it just says that "HDDs not found". I've also read the manual but that's isn't anything on installing a drive. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,you should connect the hard drive to the DVR and format HDD in the DVR system.I hope it can help you.
