Dahua IP phone Embedded linux App

Recommended Posts

I'm working in an organisation which deals with R&D stuff, for embedded devices. I've been asked to develop an app that would run on the Dahua ip phone. I'll have it launched using one of the many buttons somehow. I have a cross-compilation env set up already and can compile a "hello world pgm" that runs on the device (using telnet from sd card).

The problem is I'm not able to figure out the GUI Api that has been used. I thought it was qt-embedded, but it doesn't seem to be installed on the device.

I do realise that (a single binary ->)"sonia" packs most of the functionality in it. Is there any way to determine which API or SDK was used to develop sonia?

It is worth mentioning that we did discuss this with Dahua's sales team, but they're reluctant to reply to our queries. Although they did allow us to have our app running on their devices. They say they will release an SDK but that will take time. And there seems to be a lot of communication gap between the sales team and their R&D team.

I've completely run out of ideas, Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks!
