progman 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Hi, new guy here. We just purchased this system for both internal & external monitoring of our warehouse. For the outdoor cameras, I want to set up the events for motion detection, but I can't seem to find any options other than on/off (under receive events in options), so while people are working during the day, I have to manually turn it off otherwise it just reports events all day long as people walk by. Then I have to turn them on for night when only rarely should anyone be out there (and those are the events I do want to trigger), so does anyone know the smart-viewer software or the internal settings menu well enough to help advise me? Dirk_D 0 Posted August 30, 2014 these low end samsung systems are absolute sh!t. I hope you bought it somewhere with a good return policy.
