Image shows as green

Recommended Posts

I am having a intermittent problem where the camera picture displays as green every so often.

Anyone come across this?.

TIA

Its in all viewers too (ie browser, BI etc) so its not a viewer issue.

Could be a lose connector, one not fully seated that's doing this. You can remove the dome cover check that all the connectors inside the camera are fully seated.

How are you accessing the camera? The text on the screenshot surely does not seem to be the text from a Hik camera.

Are you using it with BlueIris? Is BlueIris geting the video feed from the camera with RTSP? If so, I am quite sure that could be the issue.

What firmware does the camera have?

#### That screenshot i posted is from BI. I get the same green preview accessing the hikvision directly via a browser

##### 5.1.6. (not hacked). Ive got 2 x (DS-2CD2532F-I) cameras from 2 different sellers both now with this problem.

Old thread about similiar problem that might be of help:

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=39160&hilit=image+green

Thanks for posting mkkoskin. The conclusion from that thread was:

"the laptop graphics card or network card can't handle the image data well"

I suppose its possible. I will see if i can replicate it on another PC.
